two partners·technology & security leadership for growing businesses
Big‑company IT, small‑company budget.
ad2 Tech is the technology and security partner for businesses too big to wing it and too small for a full‑time executive. We start with a fixed‑price check of your network, tell you plainly what we found, fix what’s worth fixing, and stay on as your part‑time head of technology if you want us to.
From an IT vendor you call, to a partner who runs it.
Most growing businesses inherit their technology one support ticket at a time. We replace that with the way large companies run it — a plan, an owner, and someone accountable — sized for a business with twelve people or twelve hundred.
Where you are
The small-business IT treadmill.
Technology is a cost you tolerate, not a tool you use.
You react to problems. Nobody is working a plan.
Vendors pitch you, and no one owns the outcome.
You suspect you’re overspending — no one can prove it.
Security is "we think we’re fine".
Where we take you
Technology that is run, not just fixed.
You know what you have, what’s wrong, and what it’s worth fixing.
A written 12-month plan. Ranked by impact, priced by line item.
One phone number. Answers to you — not to a vendor.
Spend reviewed every quarter against what it actually does for you.
A security score you can track. The fix attached to every finding.

How we do the work
What you get back is a ranked list, not a pile of alerts.
AEGIS is the process we run every engagement through. It reads the settings on your firewall, internet connection, switches and Wi‑Fi — read‑only, nothing is changed — strips out anything that identifies you before any analysis, checks it against best practice, and then a partner reviews it. You get one list of what matters, in plain language, with the fix and the effort next to each item.

No account manager. No junior staff translating between you and the person who knows the answer. The people who ran the assessment are the people who wrote the proposal — and the people on the call when you have a question about it.

What we sell
Three things. Each one a fixed price, in writing, before we start.
Everyone starts with the assessment. Most clients then have us fix what it found, and many keep us on as their part‑time head of technology and security. You decide at each step.

What an assessment run looks like · example data
1 · AEGIS Network Assessment
A review of your firewall, internet connection, switches, Wi‑Fi and remote access. Nothing is changed. You get a written report that ranks every problem by how much it matters to the business, with the fix and the effort next to each one.
PriceFixed · quoted after one call
2 · AEGIS Remediation
We fix what the report found. You pick which items; we quote the work as one fixed‑price project with a schedule. The same two people who found the problems do the fixing.
PriceFixed · per project
3 · AEGIS Partnership
A partner becomes your part‑time head of technology and security. A flat monthly fee covers named hours, a re‑check of your network each quarter with what changed, vendor negotiations on your side of the table, and someone to call when something goes wrong.

What does it cost?
Every engagement is a fixed price, quoted in a written proposal after a short call. We don’t publish prices because no two networks are the same size, and we would rather quote you the real number than a starting-from figure that grows. There are no hourly surprises: the proposal is the invoice.
Are you an IT support company?
No. We don’t run a help desk, send technicians to swap keyboards, or sell antivirus subscriptions. We are the senior technology and security judgment that growing businesses usually can’t afford full-time: a plan, someone accountable for it, and honest advice about vendors. If you need day-to-day support, we’ll help you pick the right provider and hold them to it.
How is this different from hiring someone full-time?
You get the same level of decision-making for a fraction of a full-time salary, from two people who have done this for twenty years each. Most clients stay with us for two to three years and only hire a full-time head of technology once they’re past about 150 people.
What size business is this for?
Roughly 15 to 1,500 employees. Below that, the problems are usually simpler than what we solve. Above that, you are better served by a full-time team, and we’ll tell you when you’ve outgrown us.
Is AEGIS software we buy or install?
No. AEGIS is the process we use to do the work: we read your network settings without changing anything, remove anything that identifies you before analysis, check it against best practice, and then review it ourselves. You don’t license it, install it, or log into it. You get the report and the plan.
What will you touch on our network?
Nothing, during an assessment. We only read settings. Any change to your equipment happens in a separate, quoted remediation project, on a schedule you approve, with a way back if something doesn’t go to plan.
Are you certified?
We don’t hold formal security certifications, and we say so rather than imply otherwise. If your contracts require a certified provider, we’ll point you at firms that qualify.
